Gotchas
Section titled “Gotchas”- Tailwind v4 PostCSS migration needs explicit
@layerordering — implicit defaults cause specificity flips between v3 and v4. - CSS-in-JS runtime cost shows up as render lag, not bundle size — measure with React DevTools profiler.
- Container queries have IE/older Safari fallbacks needed — feature-detect at the build step.
